Roofing built to handle Louisiana weather — and the people you trust it to.
Replacement, repair, and storm-damage response for homes and businesses across the Gulf South. A local crew that climbs the roof, tells you what’s actually needed, and does the boring parts right.
Roofing done by people who climb up there first.
Every roofing project starts with a real look at your roof — not a sales pitch from someone who didn’t climb up there. We assess condition, identify failure points, and tell you what’s actually needed.
A roof you don’t have to think about is the goal. We get there by doing the boring parts — flashing, underlayment, ventilation — right the first time.
Our crew handles full replacements, targeted repairs, and emergency response after storms. We’re licensed for both residential and commercial work, and we coordinate inspections and any required permitting.
And because Genesis 41 is a full home-services contractor, if water has reached interior drywall or trim, we can repair that too — one crew, one schedule, one invoice.
From a leak repair to a full replacement.
Six common scopes we handle. Don’t see yours? Tell us — roofs come in many shapes.
Asphalt Shingle Replacement
Full reroofs in standard architectural and dimensional shingles — the most common Genesis 41 roofing job.
Metal Roofing
Standing-seam and exposed-fastener metal for homes and commercial buildings, designed for durability and Louisiana weather.
Storm Damage Repair
Emergency tarping, full damage assessment, and the documentation your insurance carrier needs.
Targeted Repairs
Leak diagnosis, flashing replacement, and patch repairs when a full reroof isn’t warranted yet.
Roof Inspections
Honest condition reports — for pre-sale, refinance, post-storm verification, or simple peace of mind.
Solar-Ready Reroofs
Planning solar? We replace the roof first so the lifespans align — and coordinate both crews on one project.
Four steps. No surprises.
Here’s exactly what happens from your first call to the final walkthrough.
Assessment & Quote
We climb the roof, photograph the condition, identify failure points, and give you a clear scope and price — with photos so you can see what we saw.
Material & Scope Confirmation
You pick the material and color. We confirm what’s being replaced vs. repaired, and call out any decking issues found during the assessment.
Tear-off & Install
Crew handles tear-off, decking inspection, underlayment, flashing, and the new roof. Most residential reroofs are completed in a few working days.
Cleanup & Walkthrough
Magnetic nail sweep, debris hauled away, and a final walkthrough so you see exactly what was done before we leave.
Roofing questions, plainly answered.
The questions we hear most often. If yours isn’t here, ask us on the quote call.
Do you handle insurance claims?
Yes — we provide the documentation (photos, scope of work, damage assessment) that your insurance adjuster needs.
We work with most major carriers, but the contract is between you and us; we are not paid by your insurance. That keeps incentives clean.
How long does a reroof take?
Most residential asphalt-shingle reroofs are completed in a few working days. Weather and complexity (chimneys, valleys, dormers) can extend that.
Metal roofs and commercial scopes take longer; we give you a target schedule with your quote.
What materials do you work with?
Asphalt shingles (architectural and dimensional), standing-seam and exposed-fastener metal, and most common low-slope materials for commercial roofs.
If you have something unusual — slate, tile, cedar shake — ask. We’ll tell you straight up if it’s not in our wheelhouse.
Repair or replace?
Depends on the age of the roof, the type of damage, and whether failure points are isolated or widespread. We’ll tell you honestly — sometimes a targeted repair buys you years; sometimes it’s throwing good money after bad.
Either way, we explain the reasoning, not just the conclusion.
What’s covered under warranty?
Manufacturer warranties on the materials themselves, plus a workmanship warranty on our installation. Specific terms are in writing with your quote.
What about the gutters?
We can replace gutters as part of a reroof project; we don’t do gutter-only jobs. If your existing gutters are in good shape, we work around them carefully during the roofing job.
