Solar systems built to last — owned outright, never leased.
Custom-designed solar for homes and businesses across the Gulf South. Cash and loan financing only — no leases, no PPAs, no third party holding the keys to your roof. The system is yours from day one.
Solar designed for your roof, your usage, your goals.
Every solar project starts with a site visit, not a sales pitch. We look at your roof, your shading, your panel orientation, your typical power bill — and then we design a system that fits your house, not a template.
“You own the system the day it’s installed. No third party. No payments to a leasing company decades later.”
Once you’re happy with the design and the quote, our crew handles the install, the permitting, the inspection, and the utility coordination. When it’s done, the system is yours outright — and the savings it generates go straight to you.
And because we’re also a full home-services contractor, if your roof needs work before panels go on, we can handle that too — no second contractor, no schedule fights.
From a single-home rooftop to a commercial array.
Six common scopes we handle. Don’t see yours? Tell us — solar is rarely one-size-fits-all.
Residential Rooftop Solar
Grid-tied panel systems sized to a single-family home’s usage. The most common Genesis 41 install.
Commercial Rooftop Solar
Larger arrays for warehouses, offices, and storefronts — designed around demand curves, not just square footage.
Battery Storage
Add battery to your system to keep critical loads running when the grid goes down. Required if you want solar that works in an outage.
Solar + Roof Replacement
If your roof needs work first, we do both in the same project — one crew, one schedule, no rework.
System Expansion
Already have solar and outgrew it? We can add capacity to an existing system or evaluate whether replacement makes more sense.
EV Charging Integration
Pair solar with a home EV charger so your car runs on your roof. Wiring and panel work covered in-house.
Four steps. No surprises.
Here’s exactly what happens from your first call to switch-on day.
Site Assessment
We visit your property, check the roof, shading, and panel location, and review a recent power bill so the design matches your real usage.
Custom Design & Quote
You get a clear system design, a production estimate, and a fixed price. Cash and loan options laid out side-by-side — no leases, no PPAs.
Install & Inspection
Our crew handles permitting, installation, and inspection. Most residential installs are completed in a handful of working days; larger systems and commercial jobs take longer.
Activation & Monitoring
Utility hookup, system commissioning, and a walkthrough so you know exactly how to read your production. The system is yours, in your name, generating from day one.
Solar questions, plainly answered.
The questions we hear most often. If yours isn’t here, ask us on the quote call.
Do you offer leases or PPAs?
No. Genesis 41 only offers cash purchase and loan financing for solar. You own the system outright the day it’s installed — no third party on your roof, no escalating monthly payment to a leasing company, no surprise terms decades from now.
The reason is simple: leases and PPAs make the math worse for the homeowner over the life of the system. If you can finance it, you’re better off owning it.
What does a system cost?
Cost depends on the size of the system, your roof, your usage, and which equipment fits the design. We don’t publish prices because a real number only comes from a real site assessment — but the quote is free and there’s no pressure to commit.
For a ballpark before you call, the Solar Calculator can get you in the right range.
How long does the whole project take?
Installation itself is typically completed in a handful of working days for a residential rooftop system, and proportionally longer for larger or commercial scopes. The full timeline from signed quote to switch-on is longer because of permitting, inspection, and utility interconnection — those add weeks, not days, and the exact length depends on your jurisdiction and utility.
We give you a target activation date with your design, and we keep you posted as we move through each step.
Will solar keep my power on during an outage?
Only if you have battery storage. Grid-tied solar without a battery is required by code to shut off during an outage — that’s a safety rule, not a Genesis 41 policy. If keeping your home powered through outages matters to you, we’ll design the system with battery from the start.
What if my roof needs work before solar?
We’ll tell you straight up during the site assessment. Solar panels last 25+ years, so going on a roof that’s near the end of its life means you’ll be paying to remove and reinstall them later — not worth it.
The good news: Genesis 41 is a roofing contractor too. If you need a roof replacement first, we can do both in the same project, with one crew on one schedule.
What kind of maintenance does solar need?
Very little. Modern solar panels have no moving parts and are designed to sit on a roof for decades with minimal upkeep. A periodic visual inspection and occasional rinse (if you’re somewhere especially dusty) is usually all they need.
If a panel underperforms or an inverter throws a fault, the monitoring system flags it and we come fix it — that’s covered under the workmanship warranty included with every install.
